Shaggy Dog Authors Award Finalists

We are proud to announce that two of our authors, Susan Moore Jordan and Sahar Abdulaziz, are finalist in the 2019 Wishing Shelf Book Awards.

Susan Moore Jordan has had two books named as finalists: Book #2 in “The Augusta McKee Mystery Series,” THE CASE OF THE DISAPPEARING DIRECTOR, and her novel, MAN WITH NO YESTERDAYS.

Author Sahar Abdulaziz’s novel, UNLIKELY FRIENDS, has also placed as a finalist.

“THE CASE OF THE DISAPPEARING DIRECTOR is the second book in The Augusta McKee Mystery series, however, all of Jordan’s Augusta mysteries are stand-alone reads. If you like a musical mystery combined with a ghost story, this one is for you! Available in paperback and Kindle.

Jordan’s novel, MAN WITH NO YESTERDAYS took the author “on a long journey into the darkness of the Vietnam War and a young soldier’s confusion after losing his memory in a helicopter accident,” she said. “It also introduced me to many remarkable people who helped him find his way back to life. Literary Columnist Dave Astor referred to this novel as “A harrowing, humane, and inspiring book.’”

Author Sahar Abdulaziz’s novel, UNLIKELY FRIENDS, is a heartwarming story full of humor that teaches us No matter how old you are, it’s never too late to heal.

“Abdulaziz weaves a beautifully written, heartwarming story which introduces us to her characters who were once filled with despair, and are now embracing hope of a better future.”

The Wishing Shelf Book Awards is author run and judged by readers. Books are marked according to editing, theme, style, cover. The winners will be announced on April 1st, 2020
